Once Upon A Summer Give-A-Way

Have you ever heard about "those people" who  buy something.....like a quilt book......and when they get home they discover they already have that book?
Well.....if I was ever one of "those people".....I would want to share one of my copies with a friend.

Hello Friend!
It is feeling like summer here in Minnesota.

Once Upon A Summer by Heather Mulder Peterson has 12 fun patterns that were inspired by her honeymoon trip to California.

Heather is a designer from Minnesota.  Anka's Treasures was named after her Grandmother.  You can visit her at http://www.anka'streasures.com/

I am planning on making this penny rug one of these days.
If you would like to be entered in the drawing, just leave a comment.  If you share this Summer Give-A-Way on your blog, I will enter your name twice.
I will draw a random winner on June 1.....when I get home from my dentist appointment.

Friendie Fills My Days

Today Friendie's sister would have turned 7.
We celebrate her short life (14 1/2 months)....and her eternity in heaven.

Our neighbor had his old tractor out this weekend.
Friendie was so excited!

Then he spotted the Tonka Crane.....
notice his tiny little school bus (also known as Big Bus) in one hand, and the crane in the other.....
he could have played outside all day.

Grammie is so blessed!

Farewell

The flowers were beautiful.
The rain held off.
Stories were shared.
Love overflowed....

Just how Gram would have wanted it.

Thank you for your kind sympathies.

I Will Be Back

I will be back to blogging again next week.  It has been a difficult week.  A close family member is in the hospital so I made the decision to stay in town instead of traveling to visit my parents and two grandmothers this week.  My one dear Gram died last night....so needless to say, my decision isn't leaving me with too great of feelings right now.  I won't let guilt eat away at me....I am just so disappointed I missed my last opportunity.
