Shortbread Shortcuts

Once again the shortbread pans are getting a lot of use.
The first pan was purchased 20 years ago.
One of the best purchases I have ever made.

When the pans were no longer available in the store, I watched for them on eBay.
There are many different patterns,
but I am partial to the Flowers and Thistles.
I still check for them occasionally when I want to give one for a gift.

Four simple ingredients and in less than an hour you can serve up a warm and whimsical shortbread cookie.
So quick and easy!
If I am wise, I use all 3 pans.

Those cookies look wonderful. Do you have a favorite recipe? I have 2 of those molds but have never used them for a cookie.

I borrowed the thistle pan from a friend but my shortbread broke up trying to get it out? Any secrets?
I've always admired these pans.
Thanks

I received that exact pan from a friend a few months ago. I was going to hang it...because I have many other molds hanging on my wall...but I haven't yet. After seeing your post, I would LOVE to make shortbread for my friend using this pan. Could you share the "how to's" and a recipe? Thank you! Thank you!

I have many shortbread stamps. I love them! I must say that I do not own a pan, I must live in a bubble because I didn't even know of them. Yours is a beautiful pattern and it seems so nice and simple...

*Thanks for the apple storage advice. I too had heard that this is the best way to store them but I didn't know about the black ink only. Thanks for the tip!

Blessings, Debbie
