Development

Friendie is doing well.
His skin is much better, but he still has some days of serious rash and itching....the worst is behind his knees.
We are trying to limit his wheat intake, but haven't totally removed it from his diet yet.

He has been a much happier boy.
He isn't as easily frustrated.
He is developing excellent communication skills....
and pretty much talks non-stop right now.

He is very observant to what is going on around him.
(Previously he would focus in on one thing and it was hard to get his attention)

Here he is coloring for the first time....
last week.

I remember his mommy learning to color in the lines....

I feel very blessed to be witnessing his development.

Look at that concentration! :-) He takes his art seriously. So glad to read he is feeling better. Wheat is really a hard one to eliminate, it is in so many things! Good luck!

Glad to hear the diet alterations are helping! I follow a few blogs of little boys that have EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa), a serious and sometimes fatal skin disease. One of the pastes these parents use on their children to help their rashes and skin irritations is a mixture of four things- it might help our little guy's itchies.

1/2 tube A&D ointment
1/2 tube Desitin
1 tube Bacitracin
2-3 tsp liquid Maalox

Mix together and apply to affected area as needed.

Give him a squeegie from me!
