Forever Nine

For those of you who read of our grief when Carter died, here are the results of the sentencing hearing.
It has been almost 5 months now....the family continues to need and appreciates your prayers.
(Carter is my cousin's oldest son and my sister's nephew)

What can I say? - nothing that helps so I won't other than I pray that your family finds a way through this awful time.

My heart goes out to your family. My prayers, too.
Having lost my own grandfather at age 9 to a drunk driver and only last year lost a family friend (who was expecting her first child) to another senseless alcohol related accident, I find myself grieving them anew each time I hear of this happening again.
I am glad you used your blog to share this news. Perhaps someone, having read of your pain, will think twice before getting behind the wheel when impaired.
Again, my prayers for your comfort and healing are yours!

As one who lost a brother to a negligent driver, I know the horrible pictures left in the family's minds. I pray that they can find some peace. They have to let it come.
