Lefse...Yah....Ya Betcha!

 What do you do when you have some potatoes that need to be used?

How about boiling up 5 or 10 pounds....peel them and rice them....

 
add some melted butter, cream sugar and salt....refridgerate at least 10-12 hours....add some flour.....

 
roll it nice and thin....

and cook it on a very hot griddle....

we eat it rolled with butter and sugar....
it doesn't last long.  :)

My sister makes lefse, too, Sheila. Sounds very tasty, but looks difficult!

Never heard of them....do you eat them plain or top them with something?
