Hippie Days

I just wanted to comment on my new blog photo. I found this in a drawer at my parent's house during my last visit. I remember riding around the yard in this wagon on the back of my young aunts motor bike.....she was what I would kindly call a "Hippie". It was a lot of fun, but really....how dangerous!!!!!

LOL! NO DOUBT! Thank goodness you survived! How fast did that thing go?

Love that pink and white car in the background! Sometimes I think it's quite amazing that anyone survives childhood; sure glad you did.

In retrospect it seems everything we did as kids would be considered dangerous. It looks like a lot of fun!!!

Yes, very dangerous!
I like the pink & white station wagon. Oh, how I wanted a pink car back then.

Okay, you caught me! I am a silent lurker to "The Second Twin Sews", and have been for some time. But, I cannot stay silent for any longer! What the heck is that ramshackle shed in the background behind the big oak tree?!?!? I never knew there was anything else there besides grandpa's nice three-car "garage", although I do remember helping him insulate, so it must have been fairly new at one time... What a great picture! The only thing missing is the much cuter, much younger little sister who was nothing more than a twinkle in daddy's eye at that time...
