I made this wool drying basket. It sits by my spinning wheel....which I really need to learn to use. :)
This sweet little basket holds tea bags in my kitchen. I made one the same size that I keep make-up in.....of course mine doesn't have hand-painted blueberries on it though.
This pie basket gets many compliments when I take it to pot-lucks and gatherings....notice the blueberries.... I didn't make this one either. :) We used The Basket Book for many of our basket patterns. My friend has moved to Montana so I am not sure if she still has her basket business. I have not made a basket in 8 years.....I am too busy quilting. :)

Your baskets are beautiful! I love the hand painted blueberries! I have one just like the big one with the feet. I keep extra throw blankets in it in the living room. My mom and I used to make baskets too but haven't in years.
This is another thing we have in common. I've made a few baskets myself, but none as nice as yours. I enjoy weaving too but quilting takes all my time now.
What fabulous baskets, Sheila. I smiled at your spinning wheel comment as mine is patiently waiting also.....
Wow! The baskets are beautiful! And they seem so full of nice memories of you and your friend weaving. Thanks for sharing them with us on your blog.
I love your baskets. I also had a basket friend who moved away. I've only made one since she left and that's been about eight years. There's just something so cozy about handmade baskets and quilts.
